Charlie is such a joy to teach. He looks forward to FHE and loves participating; he gets so excited. I love having this special time set aside each Monday evening for teaching our son about his Savior, Jesus. I hope to instill in him the importance of a strong testimony of the gospel.

WOW!!! He surprised me with Mastering the Art of French Cooking and Adobe Photo Shop Elements 7! I am in heaven...on cloud nine. I am so thrilled and excited to learn the skills presented in these gifts.

How many people does it take to put up a tent? Well all of us; it goes a lot quicker with more helpers.
After all of his help, he got to rest in the tent. This tent we set up for cooking outside and relaxing in. Sometimes it is nice not to always be in the trailer.
The truck tent. Modern accessories. However we were dry camping.....meaning no water or electric hookups. The joy of all joys Porta potties...I detest!

Natalie is one of Steven's friends that was at the event and came to visit our camp site. She was so cute and read Charlie Skippy Jon Jones. Charlie's favorite book!

We had corn bread and fish Steven caught at the Snake River. A very authentic pioneer meal!

Mountain man spotted. Good thing, after all it was a Mountain Man Rendezvous!
It is said that for the three days this event is held 30, 000 people attend.
School time
The Native American dancing was fascinating. The Regalia was breath taking. There were so many people that dressed amazingly accurate for the era being depicted. It felt as though we stepped through a portal into the past. Everything was accurate and authentic.
Last week was very stressful and interesting. As many of you know my Grandma Annie was life flighted to Boise Idaho because she has septicemia. She spent a week in the hospital and had a dangerously high fever. Before this all transpired my cousin Becca and Aunt Shirley were going to come visit. Alas Becca came for one day and it was so good to see her. She was driving to Nebraska for an outage job at the Nuclear power plant. 
We went and enjoyed a delicious meal at Pizza Factory!
It was fun to visit and I look forward to when she returns on her way home from this job!
