Welcome spring!

Sunny days!!!

I love lilacs. My lilac tree is in full bloom and just breathtaking. The smell is heavenly; I just adore drinking in the smell of the fragrant blossoms. I wish I could share the fragrance with the picture!
A nice day to bring out the little baby pool. Charlie has been asking me none stop to be able to get his pool out. So how can you say no on a gorgeous warn day with temperatures in the high 70's!
Besides this kid is so white he could pass as Casper! Bring on the sunshine!
I love his adorable physique. Look at that cute tummy and bummy!

Potty Traing days are here

Big boy underwear!!!

I am so pleased with my little guy; he has been extremely successful with being potty trained. We went to Walmart the other day and he got to pick out a bunch of cool tidy whities aka "big boy underwear"!
He has been doing excellent; there have been very few accidents and as the week goes on it just gets better. He has slept through the night for a week without an accident.
I am glad that we decided to wait for when Charlie was ready. I have worried that it would never happen. Well it did and it has gone so smoothly that this method is one I will defiantly choose to do with the other children we have.

Learning

Learning to ride big wheels
Last year my Mom got Charlie this Radio Flyer and when we got it home and assembled it was just too big for Charlie. We had to store it in the garage and hope that he would grow and be able to use it the next year.
His legs finally reach the pedals....yet it is still just a little too big.

Charlie sulking...he got frustrated and came to pout. Even with Robert and I giving encouragement...Charlie was done!

Celebrate

Going out to celebrate!!!
Nothing like home made root beer....or should I say restaurant made root beer.

This is our lovely private room....we played musical tables that evening. We started out in another area but then the guy making balloon animals came in and Mom had to leave because of her being anaphlactic to latex. It all worked out in the end because we got this nice big room to ourselves and we could shut the door!

Miss Talbie......the Queen of babysitting! Charlie had the best time being able to be with his cousin Talbie. Thank you so much Talbie you are an amazing babysitter!

This is my uncle David "aka" Dave......so this would be Charlie's Great Uncle. This kid loves Dave!

Nice face

having a good time! Charlie is a bit of a dare devil......

University of Utah

Her is a huge tribute to my Mother! I think she is the most amazing women in the world! I am so proud of her I could pop. She has been accepted into the Doctorate of Nursing Program at the University of Utah Medical School! She will soon have her Doctorate and be Dr. Sandra Knolwes! 10 years of school under her belt.
She went through a very rigorous application process and submitted her application in January of this year. She was told that if she was considered for acceptance to the competitive program she would have an interview. Two weeks ago she had the interview and they told her that if she was accepted she would hear at the end of May. She received an acceptance letter two days ago! She will start school in August!
Mom you are so incredible and such an example to me. What can a say, you ROCK!!!!!!
