My Precious Angel!

This adorable gingerbread man was the gift Charlie made at school for his mommy and daddy!  I love it; so precious.
Charlie had his kindergarten shots!
IMG_2767
He had to have five shots in his legs!  It was a rough day for this little guy!  After getting shots he got to get a Happy Meal and pick a new movie.
I told him that when we got home I would make him a special bed on the couch so he could rest; and rest is what he did!

The second day of his holiday vacation and what do I sign him up for…….shots!  Not cool!
We register him for kindergarten in February and he will need to have had all his shots.  So now it is done and over and there will be no more mean shots until high school; that is what the nurse told us!

Door decoration!

I decorated the Bishop’s door this month with a Sharing Time project!  I think it turned out cute.

For the month of December the theme in Primary has been service!

Inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these, ye have done it unto me, Matt. 25:35–45

The Primary made the handprints and gifts.  The nursery children decorated the ornaments.  I wanted all the children involved!

The hands represent helping hands of service.  The presents are gifts that the children will give to the Savior as we celebrate His birth this month.  They drew pictures and wrote things they can do; for example: be kind to their brothers and sisters and read scriptures and pray!

I will bring these gifts back out at Easter and give them to the children.  Hopefully they remembered the gift they promised to give the Savior!  If not they will receive another opportunity!

  • When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God, Mosiah 2:17

It took a lot of masking tape to keep this all on the door.  The problem is every time the heat turns on things fall off the door!  Oh well it is only for the month of December!

A VERY SPECIAL VISITOR!!!!

Santa and Charlie!

The other evening Santa came to my Mom’s house!  Charlie was ecstatic!

Thank you so much Santa for making a special visit and for the beautiful Nutcracker music box that you gave him!   He calls it his precious cracker that is so precious to him because Santa gave it to him!

Charlie could not stop talking about Santa surprising him at Grandma’s.  He said….” you know Mom those Santa’s at the mall are fake but not this Santa, he was so real!

It was magical!  Thank you!

Primary Christmas Activity!

I made this Christmas arrangement to take to the nursing home!

I went by the Provo River at Mom’s house and collected different  varieties of pine and then used stuff I had!  I think it turned out very nice; I only had 10 minutes to get it ready before going to the nursing home!

For our Primary activity we made Christmas cards  and went caroling at the Berkshire Rehabilitation Center!
