Saturday Activities!

IMG_0487

This group is so tech!  They all had some sort of an electronic device and were multitasking to the max!

IMG_0489

Like Mother like Son like Grandson…something to that effect!  Birds of a feather flock together!

BBQ

When it finally cooled off that evening we enjoyed a BBQ on the patio!

Snuggle

IMG_0496

The “snuggle”  Charlie that evening kept requesting a snuggle.  That is something we do; a day just does not start without a snuggle and a day does not end without a snuggle…oh and lots of snuggles in between!

So Grandma had the honor of having a snuggle!

Grandma brought Charlie the most adorable book!  Charlie loves it, thank you so much Liz!

Grandma Boulter’s visit to Utah!

IMG_0455

Waiting at the airport!  We were all so excited to see Liz…aka Grandma Boulter!!!!

IMG_0456

My goodness they look a lot alike to me!  Charlie was sooo happy to finally be with his Grandma!  I don’t think he ever thought the time would arrive.  He was more excited to see Grandma B than he was for Christmas!

Tony Caputo’s Market!

IMG_0460

I suggested we go to one of my favorite places down town Salt Lake for lunch!

IMG_0461

IMG_0462 Look at all the handmade and hand painted chocolates!  Yummy they were too pricy for our budget, but we did get to sample one!

IMG_0465

Instead of lunch we decided to have breakfast at the bakery next door!

BEAUTIFUL PEONIES!

I love peonies, they are without a doubt one of my most favorite flowers.  This year the blooms have been exceptional!

I wanted to bring the outdoors into my house so I put together a few bouquets to enjoy!

Continued……

IMG_0378

Charlie with his Great Grandma Knowles!  I love this picture it is so precious!

IMG_0379

That evening we went to the cemetery and enjoyed the gorgeous scenery, relaxed and reminisced!

IMG_0382IMG_0389

Charlie and Ben are so cute!  They have always been the best of friends.

IMG_0384

Relaxing!

 IMG_0395

I made the boys a little make shift tent!  They loved it and had a great time pretending.

IMG_0403

I have never seen this type of bird before, I was mesmerized by it.  Does any one know what kind of bird it is?  Such bright turquoise feathers.

IMG_0411

We wore Charlie out he fell asleep on the stairs watching a movie on the itouch while we were putting stuff away.

IMG_0415

Memorial day activities!

 IMG_0365

Charlie requested donuts!  These might not be “Rolling Pin Donuts,” but they were very tasty none the less!   Robert did a great job picking them out!

IMG_0367

Charlie loves donuts with sprinkles!   What child doesn't!

After breakfast we helped our awesome neighbors that are from San Paulo Brazil with their yard!  Sandra and I are having a great time gardening; she is a wonderful friend!  I need to get pictures but I am always covered in dirt and never remember to grab a camera!

Flowers

IMG_0370 IMG_0372

Pink and yellow were the color combination this year!  Due to the crazy weather we have been having in Utah my flowers were not in bloom yet.  No problem because on June 7th they will be and that is the day that is more important to me!

IMG_0375

Brig, Sam and Abi came and put flowers on Jessie’s grave while we were there.  It was so fun to see them all!  Sam just got his mission call to Bolivia and leaves in August!

Trio Blocks!

Grandma got Charlie some new blocks and he can not stop playing with them!  He loves building and creating, but most of all he loves it when daddy plays blocks with him!
