Birthday party at school!

IMG_1398

The birthday poster I made and took to his class.  I think it turned out so fun and vibrant!

It was so fun getting to go to his class and be part of his class party.  I got to brag about Charlie and tell what his favorite things are!

Ward BBQ

Every year Mom’s ward has an incredible salmon BBQ in the park.  Her home teacher Brother Abot has fresh salmon from Alaska flown in for this big event.  An average they expect at least 300 people to attend.  That is a lot of fresh salmon!

The theme this year was My Big Fat Greek Salmon Feast.

The marinade on the salmon is top secret and it is so mouth watering divine!  Maybe Mom can ask Brother Abot for his recipe!

Two team members stood across from each other and passed a trout back and forth if they caught  it they would take a step back and start the process over again.

The actual event I recorded and it was so hilarious.  Charlie loved it and went home smelling like a brook trout!

Charlie’s incredible teacher, Jill Oliverson.

It is such a miracle Charlie got into her preschool.  She has a three year waiting list!

This year Charlie is attending a new Preschool.  He is really accelerating with his reading and writing skills and can count to 100 on his own!  I see great improvement each day!

Dave and Charlie’s birthday!

Ok well, really it was for Uncle Dave and he was kind enough to share the lime light with a very excited Charlie.

Dave’s birthday is the 16th of September and Charlie’s is the 20th!

Marianne hosted a lovely birthday party at her home in Sundance!

We gave Dave some fun books.  Both about America.  The first how America was founded and the other book is a compilation of road trip destinations in America.

So Knowles family time to take a ROAD TRIP!

Mom gave Dave some fun BBQ supplies and cookbook; she got them in Tennessee while she was at a conference for a week.

Aunt Marianne gave Charlie a very neat and unique toy.  Hex Bug Nano; robot bugs that look a lot like cockroaches and move like them too!

Boy oh boy reminds me of my mission days. Nothing like coming home after a long day of tracking and turning on the lights in the apartment and watching all the hundreds of cockroaches scramble to seek cover!

Marianne made the best fresh peach and almond dessert!  It was so light and delicious!  What a splendid treat!

Thank you Marianne for hosting a delightful and enjoyable event!

IMG_0610

We recently purchased season tickets to Seven Peaks Water Park, Trafalga and the Owlz baseball games.  If was the tickets of all tickets.  $40 a person gave us V.I.P. access to these places starting this last Labor day until next.

We hope this will give us some fun things to do as a family.

Above we enjoyed an Owlz Baseball game at UVU!
