Families can be together forever!

We had the most enjoyable family outing the other evening.  Oh a whim I decided as a family we needed to go to the temple! 

  It was a splendid evening.  The sun was beginning to set and the colors were intense and exquisite.  Definitely a picture perfect evening. 

We had fun teaching Charlie the importance of the temple and answering his questions.

New pool!

The other day we were at Kmart and saw this pool that was normally $75 and it had been marked down to $24.  We could  not pass on such a great offer.  Besides Charlie had really outgrown his baby pool!

Fourth of July Festivities!

I have to say for this year we kept the 4th very low key.  Sweet and simple and for the most part. Enjoyable!

Charlie’s 4th of July outfit!  He picked it out; such good taste.  Target always has the cutest kids clothes for the 4th. 

We had a great tail gate party!  We brought chairs, an umbrella, the grill, great food and good music!  It was a fun evening in the park!

One adorable 4th of July puppy!  He was a hit; everyone was wanting to pet him and thought he was so friendly! 

My extremely cute “Precious Angel”; that is what he is always asking me to call him! 

Mom bought delicious  bratwurts at Harmons.  They make them fresh in the meat department and have some great flavors!  For example: Greek chicken, jalapeño and cheddar, and herb with sundried tomato! 

  Robert did a excellent job at the grill; definitely the son of Bruce!

VT gift bags!

I like putting together little gifts for the ladies I visit teach.  This month’s gift was inspired by the 4th of July of course!

I put sparklers and a few other little things and then made a tag that said:  Always sparkle with the light of Christ!  I included this scripture:

3 Nephi 12:16

Therefore let your ^alight so shine before this people, that they may see your good works and ^bglorify your Father who is in heaven.

The Premier of Eclipse!

 

Yeah opening night of Eclipse!   Just hanging out and talking.  We arrived at 10 and waited until 12.  Time flies when you are having fun.

Abi, caution do not enter or exit!!!   

  My adorable cousin Abi and Aunt Marianne got all the girls tickets to the Premiere of Eclipse. 

  It was a special showing that Suggestions Salon organized!

When we got into the theater there were gift bags on all the chairs filled with cool beauty supplies and movie treats!

 

Then they started passing out team Edward and Team Jacob chocolate covered strawberries!  How cool was that; dessert and a show! 

There was a raffle drawing and mom won hair products!  Go Mom!

Thank you Aunt Marianne for the awesome Premiere tickets; I had the most enjoyable time.  The movie was great; but most of all I enjoyed having a girls night out! 

Not getting home until three in the morning made me feel young again!  lol  Until the next day when I did not want to get out of bed!
