A fieldtrip to Northridge Elementary!

IMG_4509

These two I call my twins because they are so close in age!

I am having fun with McKenzie’s beautiful long hair.  One must look your best when going on a fieldtrip!

This will be Charlie’s Kindergarten class next year!

IMG_4534

The preschool class sang two songs for the kindergarten class and then they got to ask questions of what Kindergarten is like!  Charlie was not shy at all and asked the most important question ever….Do you get to build with blocks…..answer YES!!!

Next the preschool children were paired with kindergarten children so they could show them around their class.

The tour is over and now it is time to go back to Preschool!

Nice weather equals popsicles!

The ice cream truck came to our neighborhood and so all the kidos got a refreshing popsicle!

We are excited and ready for summer!

The Fort!

Where to begin????  After downloading 700 pictures from my camera I am overwhelmed with events to blog about so here it goes……

A visit to the the library

We first made a stop at McDonalds for lunch.

The Orem Public Library has the best children’s section.  Two levels filled with books; the kids walked around acting overwhelmed by all the choices.

One whole wall of the library is this beautiful hand painted stained glass window; it is remarkable!

McKenzie was upset because I told all the kids they could only pick five books each.  I am sure if I had let them we would have gone home with most of the library.

With so many books to choose from it is difficult to narrow it down.  We will be sure to make multiple visits so they can check out new books!

Charlie went home with books about the weather, skyscrapers and human anatomy!  I love how he has many interests and spends time learning about each.

School Pictures!

I realize I am quite behind in blogging, however finding a few moments of free time is proving to be quite challenging!

So here are the cute pictures I took of Max and McKenzie at school!

The windows behind the two trees, that is where his class is!  Miss Barclay’s class has named the two trees that they look out at.

Kangaroo Zoo!

I love this place; it is the ultimate kid mecca!  We have taken the kids twice and each time they have had a blast making new friends and playing on the cool jolly jumps!
