Hillary and Liz!

My Mother and Sister in Law got to spend a week with us!  It was so fun to have them visit.

The first day they were here I took them to one of my favorite restaurants, Malawi’s at the Riverwoods!

We enjoyed some divine savory and dessert pizzas.

After lunch we went shopping at the mall.  Liz and Hillary came home with some adorable shoes!

Next day

Discovery Museum

While Hillary and Liz spent time indexing at the Church Family History Library, I took Charlie to the Discovery Museum so he could play.

We then went on a tour!  Here is a bronze bust of Brigham Young; Charlie insisted of getting a picture next to it!

I had such a fascination with the beautiful light fixtures!   They just don’t make things like they used to.

Look at the detail; oh the craftsmanship!

The stately rooms decorated in the finest furnishings possible!  Satin tapestries, velvet upholstery and gilded picture frames!

Blogging marathon!

I was recently called to be the new Primary President and sense then I have not had a moment to blog.

So this evening after downloading 928 pictures from my camera, I started this blogging endeavor.

More events will follow…..hopefully.  In the mean time I hope you enjoy sharing some fun summer memories with the Boulter Family!

Camping at the lake!

Making pizza in the Dutch oven!

IMG_5618

In the beginning there was a lot of fresh ingredients arranged layer upon layer on top of homemade pizza dough!

During the cooking process a huge summer rain storm began!

The finished product it was so mouth watering good!  Oh man I want some right now!

Next we had the best chocolate pudding cake ever!  It was so moist and decadent!

By the time we finished cooking we were sitting under a canopy in a doozy of a thunder and lightening storm.  Did we stop the cooking and eating process; heck no!!!

Next day!

Steven, Charlie and I went swimming in the lake but I did not get one stinking picture; it is hard when you are in the water.  Even with sunscreen Steven and I baked.  I coated Charlie good in sunscreen and made him wear his swim shirt; he did not get burnt at all!

Some of my fondest memories of camping is the time we spend together cooking meals that are out of this world!  We love to plan and cook food that is unforgettable!

How I love my family; we have so much fun together!
