Say Ahhhhhhhh!

Charlie's first trip to the Dentist's office!

The light was on his face hence the complete wash out. Charlie did very well at the Dentist's office. Dr. Dave is awesome; it also helps that he is in our ward.
A bit apprehensive; yet very cooperative! He is such a little trooper!
Dr. Dave let Charlie push the buttons on the chair to lean the chair back and forth!

Charlie did excellent. (The bag full of treats and toys also helped soften the trip to the dentist! That office always gives the best stuff after an appointment.) I had set up an appointment so Charlie could have a trial run so to say. Basically it was to help Charlie feel comfortable and know what to expect. He has a real appointment in six months. Dr. Dave did say that Charlie's teeth look great; hopefully he got my teeth.....Robert had to have a lot of dental work done as a child!

Trip to Salt Lake

The Discovery Learning Museum

Charlie was in his element. Everything about this place was perfect for children. It was a miniaturized world with a store, farm, house, post office, gas station, construction zone, ball area, water area and climbing wall....that was the first level.
The second level were all sorts of blocks and games!!!!! Amazing, I want to get the season pass and bring Charlie again and again. A place he can learn, imagine and play all at the same time!
Water area

Farm

Grocery store

Construction zone
News room! Charlie live with KSL 5!

Charlie putting on his own production!

The helicopter was cool. It is an actual life flight helicopter that obviously has been taken out of commission! They had it set up so when you got inside there were buttons to push and it made helicopter sounds!

Visiting Grandpa Boulter and Maxine
Three generations...alas missing Bruce, we could have had four generations in the picture!

This is Maxine she and Grandpa Boulter are planning on getting married in September! She is a very kind lady and Charlie was quick to call her Grandma
Here is Charlie trying to teach Maxine how to play Rag Dolls on the iPhone.

Robert inherited quite the piece of art work! hehehe Grandpa was set on giving this to Robert and so the plan is to put it in Robert's future office! Or please if there is anyone in the family that feels they would like to take this off our hands come to this address 548 N 280 W.

Anniversary surprise!
0
I know I look so thrilled in this picture! I was trying to be indiscreet while taking a self portrait. For our Anniversary Robert surprised me by suggesting I get my hair done and a pedicure. I think he read my mind. I was so thrilled to be pampered!
Long locks to cute stylish chick!!!!

For our Anniversary we went to see the play Over the River and Through the Woods! Hilarious; it reminded me a lot of my Yugoslavian heritage!

Mix and match pictures

RANDOM!!!

On Thursday we went to the U of U to get Mom her parking pass and U card! I thought this was a great sign to get a picture by!
It is exciting for a kid when you give them a quarter to pick out a gum ball! Charlie wanted a bouncy ball!
Grandma got Charlie a cute little kids table and play dough supplies! She is constantly adding to her grandchildren toys. Charlie picked out a set that makes little hamburgers aka "crabby patties"! He played for hours and had such a great time!

The Garden

It has been a difficult piece of earth but none the less the fruits of our labor are slowly paying off! The squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and melons are doing great. The beans on the other hand did nothing and looked like plants from a concentration camp!
Mom's ward started a community garden and so we decided to plant a small plot. However the soil was horrid, no nutrients and clay packed. Not the loam consistency required to have a successful garden. Next year I think Robert and I will install grow boxes in our back yard!
See the little cantaloupe peaking out from underneath the leaves!

Sundday BBQ

The Harris Family

Charlie had the best time playing with Hannah, Parker and Alex!
Kevin and Kim Harris

Randi
The neighbors kitty, Peach. Charlie is fascinated with animals these days and constantly asks to have a pet.

Last Sunday we had a BBQ and invited some friends from our ward. It was a very enjoyable evening of good food and good company! Robert did an excellent job of barbecuing a tri tip and making cheesy potatoes!

Hair today gone tomorrow!

Before and After
Here is my handsome manly man! Robert is the only guy I know that can grow a full thick beard in a matter of no time! Lately he has been sporting his what I call Grizzly Adams look. Perhaps he wants to go against the Utah cookie cutter look of always being clean shaved!
Well he shaved it clean....ALL OF IT!!!! Usually he keeps the goatee and mustache! Wow I have a husband that looks ten years younger! I love that you can see his adorable dimple better!
Charlie took a while to warm up to Robert after he shaved. He kept asking me what Daddy had done to his face and saying oh darn it! He has always seen Robert with some sort of facial hair. It took a bit of coaxing to get Charlie to touch Robert's smooth face!

Soaking up the sun!

Spending the day at Aunt Lynn's

Charlie and I spent the day with Lynn and Ben!
They have a fun swimming pool that they put up each summer. The boys spent hours playing and swimming!
Charlie was hesitant to get his head wet. Oh well he seemed to be enjoying every moment!
Aunt Lynn helping Charlie get on the floaty.
Ben is such a little character!
Eating noodles after getting out of the pool!

Here is my handsome Zack! He turned in his mission papers and will be getting his call sometime this week! You rock Zack, what an amazing young man you are. Where in the world will Zack get called to? He hopes foreign and I told him where ever he goes is where the Lord needs him....even it is Boise Idaho! You love your mission no matter the location!
