This was the best little family outing.  We had a splendid time seeing the lights and listening to Christmas music!  We  finished the evening by going to the Cracker Barrel and getting pie and hot chocolate!  What more could you ask for; holiday perfection!

Santa Claus

Santa Baby!

5x7

Today we went to the University Mall and got pictures of Charlie with Santa!

Charlie was not at all intimidated and walked right up and sat on Santa’s lap and started a conversation.  I tried to hear what he was saying to Santa but I was too far away.  I know they talked about Christmas trees; that much I did catch!  Alas I did not hear what he wants…..Santa knows! wink wink

Thanksgiving!

Much gratitude.  I thank the Lord for the many blessings in which He so graciously provides.  I am indeed grateful for a loving husband and son!  I love my family so much that words do not even come close to expressing the feelings of my heart.  There is much to be thankful for!

The Gratitude Tree

These are the things Charlie said he was thankful for.  Every night when we say prayers before bed he says thank you for his body and help it be healthy and strong!

Classic melt down….MOOOOOMMMM  I don’t want to ware the stupid Pilgrim hat!
IMG_9896
What did I learn….never make a beautiful pie to take to preschool.  The kids took one bit and threw the rest away.  Except my sweet Charlie, he ate the whole slice!

Manti Temple and Sunday dinner!

IMG_9698
Saturday we spent a splendid day at the Manti Temple!  Spectacular!
Gordon B. Hinkley said that the Manti Temple is a flag ship to all the other temples.  The effort to detail is astounding.  The spiral staircases that go six stories high with out support beams.  There are only a few in the world like them and two of them are in the Manti temple.  The stairs rest on the next; the brother who made them was an extremely skilled craftsmen.  A art and technique that has been lost!
Fun information; did you know that the land for the Manti Temple was dedicated by Moroni.  Awesome!

Sunday Dinner!
IMG_9709
It was great to have everyone over for dinner.  I made a traditional Sunday meal.  Roast beef, gravy and mashed potatoes, home made rolls, roasted carrots, green bean casserole and jell-o salad.

Liz and Bruce visiting the Boulter’s in Utah!

IMG_9675
Grandpa brought really cool glow worm candy!  A grandparents job is to spoil; and spoil they did!
IMG_9676
The best Grandpa ever; Charlie loved playing blocks with Grandpa.  Thank you Bruce you are a sweetheart!
 IMG_9689
The best little Pizza shop in town.  Just a block away from where I live.  Everything is made from scratch and divine or heaven sent is the best way to describe the food!
IMG_9691
The colossal sandwiches!   One could feed a family; so much food!
IMG_9690IMG_9696
So if you need a great and affordable place to eat try Wizeguyz.  Bruce and Liz liked the place so much they actually ordered sandwiches to take home with them.  That is what I am talking about baby!
 IMG_9687
Bruce saved the day by helping my neighbor hook the bike I gave her to her jogging stroller.  Thank you handyman Bruce; much appreciated!
