A very special visit from Sister Hobson!

Dearest Sister Hobson is such an example to me!  She is so organized and involved in the lives of those that she served with in Cabo Verde.

  I love her dearly and am so grateful for her!

She came to visit and meet Bentley! 

Charlie made Sister Hobson a thank you card.  After Bentley was born she sent Bentley a gift card and she sent Charlie a crisp two dollar bill!  He was absolutely thrilled.

I went through my pictures of when Charlie was a baby and found the ones were President and Sister Hobson came to see Charlie! 

How amazing are these dear people!  Sister Hobson has came to see both my babies!  Thank you so much that truly means so much to me. 

Bath time in the kitchen sink!

It is crazy to think that not too long ago Bentley could fit in the kitchen sink and take a bath. 

I love taking pictures of bath time.  It just shows how small they were once and how quick they grow!

Fifth disease???

A few weeks into school and Charlie comes home one day with a very interesting rash!  It was all over his torso, arms and legs.

  You can imagine I was very nervous….new born and an unidentifiable rash. 

  I quickly made an appointment with Charlie’s Pediatrician Dr. Wynn.

  Dr. Wynn identified the rash as Fifth disease or also know as slap face because of the appearance of very red checks. 

  I had never heard of it before.  Dr. Wynn explained that back in the 16 hundreds when they were trying to identify and name rashes… it went like such mumps, measles, rubella, chicken pox and this one fifth disease.  It has a lacy like appearance and tends to manifest itself when one gets over heated.  Charlie had ran a mile during lunch recess!  

 

  Luckily Charlie soon recovered and Bentley did not catch it!  Sigh of relief
