Birthday Queen!

The gift!

IMG_1861

Beautiful Birthday Girl!!!!

My new tradition for my Mom’s birthday present is that I make a Halloween/Birthday crown!

IMG_1814

Steven, Charlie and I went over early and surprised her with bagels and the makings for a Bloody Mary!

Her favorite bagel the one with everything and Lochs cream cheese!

LA JOLLA GROVES

IMG_1828

Mom’s sister Marianne invited everyone to lunch to celebrate Mom’s birthday!

La Jolla Groves is a new restaurant that recently opened in the Riverwoods!  Excellent!

IMG_1825

A whole room reserved for the Knowles family!  Love it!

IMG_1823

Lynn gave Mom the cutest gift!  I especially liked the Monster Marker!  Fun idea!

IMG_1826

Charlie’s menu!   He was quite thrilled; usually kids menus entail a piece of paper and crayons!  I think he felt grown up.

Brig and soon to be Mrs. Heaps!  Yeah!!!

A kid can get Mac and cheese even at a fancy restaurant!

IMG_1838

See Brig’s hand sneaking Charlie’s French fries and when ever Charlie would get distracted Brig would sneak bites of Mac and Cheese!

All the boys in the class!  No one had the same costume.  There was Batman, Charlie the Viking, a Pirate, a Ninja, and a Knight!  What a bunch of cuties!

The entire class and Miss Jill!

IMG_1740

Charlie’s horns caught a butterfly; well that is what it looks like anyway!

IMG_1747

You know me, always bringing treats!  I put together treat bags and made caramel corn.

IMG_1769

Charlie was playing with alphabet letters and singing the words to Chika Chika Boom Boom!

IMG_1777

The games that everyone played were as fallows: Halloween bingo, pin the nose on the pumpkin, mummy wrap, ring toss on a pumpkin, and they all made adorable Halloween necklaces!

I volunteered to help and had so much fun!  I wish I would have taken better pictures, but there was just no time.

I admire Miss Jill and her ability to keep 12 rambunctious children under control and occupied every second!  She is amazing!

Halloween Costume!

I made 60 sugar cookies and Robert made two dozen chocolate chip cookies!  I wanted to bring a treat for the Primary kids and teachers.  After our final practice everyone got to have a yummy treat!

Saturday with Emmie!

IMG_1653

Charlie and Emmie had the best time!  We started the day with breakfast at McDonalds.  These two could not stop giggling!
