Kids!

Primary Activity

Barrel racing....Go Charlie and Bree

Sack Races!

BFF's for the moment. You think teenagers are fickle; they pale in comparison to four year olds!

Leg wrestling

The Primary activity was playing pioneer games. The children all had such a fun time!

Our neighbors, the Reyes Family put up a hammock. All the kiddos in the neighborhood enjoyed a nice relaxing swing in the hammock.

Thank you Lucas for pushing all of these cute kids in the hammock.
Charlie and Reina, inseparable.

Mommy daughter date!

Julie & Julia
The other evening my Mom and I went to go see Julie and Julia! The movie was excellent and inspiring! I would really like to get "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" cookbook. I think it would be fun to experiment and make some delicious French cuisine. I have a friend that wants to cook and blog with me about our experience.
Nice shot huh? I was trying to get the title of the movie!
A ten at night showing equals nobody in the theater! Could it be more perfect!

The boy is back in town!

My Brother is Home!!!! Happy Days!!!
This is the fun poster Steven's ward put on the garage before he got home!

Motorcycle Man
Steven brought home a new toy!
Taking off the Oregon plates. He has to get all the licensing and stuff like that before he can take us for a ride!
The boys mowing the yard! So adorable!

I am so excited to have my baby brother home. We all miss him so much when he leaves for the summer. Charlie has been glued to his side, he adores his Uncle Steven. Charlie has spent the whole summer praying every night that Steven would get home and stay! Oh then there is Robert and Steven that when you get them together it would put a girls chat party to shame! Last but not least, there is me who tends to super dote; take it while you can brother! lol I love all the wonderful guys in my life!

Saturday Warriors

Midway and Park City
On Saturday we decided to take a family drive. I wanted to stop at the bakery in Midway that was featured in Paula Dean's magazine.
Delectable pastries and confections!
Charlie picked out a cupcake that was the same color as his shirt! What are the chances...that is a very bright green shirt!

Then we went to the duck pond! Somehow Charlie fell in and got completely wet. It is a good thing I always pack an extra change of clothes.
We went up through the mountains to get to Park City. A lovely switch back dirt road, that climbs to steep altitudes. This is a view of the beautiful Heber valley!

Park City and the Alpine Slides!
We got to take a ski lift to the top of the mountain. First time for both my guys to go on a ski lift. A bit nerve racking with a three year old. He was great; I just jumped every time he moved and insisted on holding on to him during the ride.
They are such a cute team! Charlie loves his Daddy.
and away we go!
The day ended with great Chinese food in Heber and a beautiful drive through the Prove Canyon. I love spending every second with my darling family!

On a whim!

Drive to Heber

After going to the Preschool orientation; I suggested we go on a little family outing. We ended up in Heber enjoying great Mexican food at Don Pedro's. This place is definitely worth the drive! MUCHO SABOROSO

We then went to the live concert in the park. The music was great and Charlie got to play on the jolly jumps! It was such an enjoyable evening. There is nothing better than spontaneity..... an adventure awaits!

Preschool!

The Learning Garden Preschool!
Charlie's teachers.......Miss Kim and Miss Courtney!
Thursday evening we went as a family to the orientation at Charlie's preschool!

Charlie is thrilled to be starting Preschool! He was just beaming with joy and excitement. During the hour we were there he was quick to make friends and they will be in his afternoon class with him! He has been excited to start school all summer and asks daily of when he will go to school! One more week and he starts! Yeah.....happy dance!

So tech savvy!

Charlie with his paraphernalia
Charlie has commandeered Robert's iPhone and headphones. It is so funny to see my little guy acting like such a teenager...all ready!
Where we go the phone goes! Charlie is so much like Robert; very tech savvy! I don't think Robert thought he would have to share his electronics so soon!
