Aunt Shirley’s Visit to Utah!

It was so fun having Shirley stay with us for a week.  Max and McKenzie were so excited that their grandma was coming to visit!

The first day we went shopping at the mall to get the kids new shoes and some summer clothes, after which  Mom and Shirley went and shopped while I watched the kids at the play area. 

Women and retail therapy; we all need that once in a while!

Unfortunately my cameras battery was dead so I did not get pictures!

The next day we took Shirley upon request to

IKEA!

Checking the kids in for 90 minutes of play time!  The best idea ever conceived; IKEA knows that parents will spend more money if they have time to look around without their children!

Robert’s Birthday!

Decorations!

Birthday dinner consisted of Homemade spaghetti sauce with cheese filled tortellini, green salad, water melon and artesian bread!

Robert got a Blue Ray DVD player for his birthday so I wanted to get him TRON on Blue Ray!

When I asked Robert what kind of birthday cake he wanted this year he requested a ice cream cake for DQ!

Mother’s Day!

My gracious Aunt hosted a very lovely Mother’ s Day dinner for the family at her home!  Thank you Lynn; it was fabulous!

I thought her door décor was so adorable and so I took a picture of it.  Clever and creative!!!

My baby brother……he is Oregon running the ranch right now while my Dad is on a fishing trip in Mexico!  I miss him too much; I will have to take a road trip to Baker soon!

Another part of the surprise with Robert’s help Steven and I sneak up to Mom’s condo with two dozen red roses and a cake!

Stefanie is a very accomplished artist.  This is what she made for Mom; it can burn incense!

Grandma was so color coordinated with the chair!  She is so gorgeous!

Caps in ascending order…Bachelors, Graduate, and Doctorate!   Each time Mom graduated she did so with high honors and has been inducted into many honor societies!!!  What can I say my mom is a scholastic and intellectual genius!!!  Can you tell I am extremely proud of my Mom’s major accomplishments!
