Robert’s 30th birthday celebration!

Robert is always so wonderful to give me rose bouquets; so I wanted to do something special for him.  I made him this very awesome candy bouquet with all of his favorite treats!

 

On his birthday I got up super early and made him breakfast.  I was going to bring it to him in bed but he wanted to eat at the table!

 

I finally remembered to use the birthday plate that I had painted at Color Me Mine!   It looks so cute with the red strawberries and all!

I made two types of delicious keich, fresh strawberry fruit dip served with strawberries, and chocolate muffins!

Robert’s favorite birthday pie!  I made two this year one just for him and than a normal 8in pie!

Steven gave Robert $30 in cash and Mom got him his favorite Van Heusen clothing!

That evening Mom treated us all to Tucanos for Robert’s birthday dinner!

Brazilian Lemonade is so good!

We got to sit outside under a covered tent; this was our view!  The weather was perfect, no wind and we enjoyed the fragrant smell of trees in bloom!  What a great birthday dinner!

Mother’s Day Project!

Happy Mother’s day Mom!

The project I have been wanting to do for my Mom for a long time; put pictures in all these frames and then hang the frames in her hall way.

  After going through thousands of pictures and narrowing it down to 100, Steven and I were able to make a fun collection of memories!

This vacant spot above is going to be for a photo collage of my Mom!  I need to scan pictures from her childhood; I am excited!  

 

The project is complete, finally!

Steven and I worked so hard to get this done and it turned out beautiful!

We were able to surprise Mom without her seeing the hall until it was done.  She had gone to dinner with friends and while she was gone we got to work and got all the pictures on the wall!  We were serious picture hanging fools!

Mom loved it!!!  She started crying and saying that it was so wonderful; she said she finally feels at home in her condo.  Goodness we should have done this a long time ago!

A ball of fluff and a ball of yarn!

Not only do cats fancy a ball of yarn so does Maxwell!  He was having a great time with this toy.

Mawell our new puppy!

We adopted Maxwell from the local animal shelter.  He was a stray and so there was no information on him only speculation.  They told us that they thought he was 4 months old and that he is a multipoo.  This is what he looked like when we adopted him! 

  We have been discussing having a dog for a year and I have been to the animal shelter multiple times looking for the perfect dog.  The other day I had the strongest feeling that I needed to go to the animal shelter so I followed the prompting and what a blessing.

  I wanted to get Robert a special present for his 30th birthday and whether luck or meant to be we now have a adorable puppy that is a delightful addition to our family!

Maxwell’s adoption day!  He looks like a little wet mop.  They had just bathed him; nothing like wet dog smell!

This is Maxwell all guised up!  I took him to the dog groomer and he looked like a new dog.

He loves his daddy and his daddy loves him!

Cute!!!!  Maxwell is such a wonderful and friendly puppy!
