Celebration time!

MOM’S SURPRISE PARTY; and yes we truly did surprise her!!!

Here is a mapped out schedule of things to do before graduation.   This has been on her office door sense the beginning of school and so it is like a old friend.  Mom wanted to get a picture of it before she took it down!

Before the actual surprise party I went to Mom’s house to get some pictures and to help Mom get things set up for what she thought was going to be her graduation party.  This was a decoy to make her not suspect!  lol

We had my awesome cousin Talbie babysit.  So before leaving we got the kids feed and set up with Wii and movies!  Ben and Emmie also joined the party. 

  Thank you Talbie for being the best babysitter in the universe.  She came so prepared with activities, games and prizes! 

Steven and I had been keeping a major secret; we wanted to host a surprise party for mom!

We made reservations at GoodWood and used Facebook and made phone calls to close friends and family to invite them to her party; asking that they keep it on the low down and not revel our plans.  Also that they arrive early and all be seated so when we brought mom in she would be surprised!  

The plot thickens……we come up with an elaborate story so she will not suspect anything.  We tell her we are meeting Dave and Kellie and going to have dinner together at Dolce Vida however in route we time everything to perfection and as we are approaching Goodwood I have a melt down that I forgot my camera.  Actual tears and all; It was academy award winning acting!  Mom is very concerned and we decide to pull over so I can look  in my purse more thoroughly…oh convenient here is my camera I thought it was my phone!  Mom is still clueless to the surprise so we say lets just call Dave and Kellie and have them meet us here! 

To her complete surprise she is greeted with a wonderful chorus of congratulations and well wishing from family and friends!
